Caroline McLean - Director

Originally from Leeds, England, Caroline joined the Chorus in 1989 shortly after moving to California, and has been the Director for the last ten years.

Her passion for close-harmony singing began when she was in high school and is still a major part of her life. While living in England, she was a member of the award-winning White Rosettes Chorus and was the lead singer in the gold medal quartet, 42nd Street. Her creative energy, fascination with all-things-vintage and infectious good humor have helped to give the Chorus it's distinctive and lively style, which charms audiences and wins rave reviews wherever they perform. "I can't think of a better place to be on a Monday night than with this incredible group of women - and I have the best seat in the house!"

In addition to directing the Chorus, Caroline currently sings with the popular Los Angeles-based vocal jazz quartet Ready Willing & Mabel.
