An enthusiastic and dedicated show chorus of approximately 60 members, the L.A. South Towns Show Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of over 27,000 women who enjoy singing four-part, a cappella harmony in the Barbershop style.
Under the direction of talented Caroline McLean, former Lead singer in the gold-medalist quartet "42nd Street" in her native England, we meet in Torrance, California on Monday evenings to rehearse our repertoire. We produce an annual show and perform frequently during the year throughout the South Bay area.
Sweet Adelines International is committed not only to teaching the Barbershop style, but also to improving the musical and performing skills of its singers. Guests are always welcome at our Monday-night rehearsals.
